Sky Max Router query

So moved from BT to Sky today, changed settings within my own router to enable service.

I am wondering am I able to use the max router as an access point upstairs via my asus mesh network or is the sky router locked down to enable this?

@MarkcBel the Sky hub cannot be used as an access point not least because you cannot turn off its DHCP server.

Re: Sky Max Router query

@MarkcBel No you will not be able to it is far to locked down, also sky will only support there equipment so if you do have an issue, the sky router will have to go on, with the nature off the MAX router you would be better to get it online now, as it needs all kinds off setup with sky, once all done then you can park it away until SKY request it back possibly in the future should you change ISP.

Asus XT8 and AI mesh user myself, but currently running the SR203 so i know it;s settled, 5 weeks in now.👍
