Sky Max Pods not worth it

Yeah, the Sky max pods are meant to "extend" the WiFi signal to the notspots in the home. Ours were causing interference with the WiFi signal from the Sky Max Hub, meaning the signal was worse and resultant WiFi speeds worse due to it crashing the signal. This must be because they create a backhaul network to speak to each other/the hub. Nobody at Sky had any advice on how to tweak that backhaul. I did notice it is possible to toggle off 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz on them and the hub, but didn't want to experiment in case it made it worse.

We have unplugged ours and are trying to look at alternatives. Just weird how the solution for weak WiFi made the situation worse. Stuck with these silly looking things that turn a double socket in the wall into a WiFi repeater. Most of the devices can still connect but signal just really weak at the limits of the home's walls away from the hub.

@Mandz85 thst sounds mostunusual as the pods sct as mesh extendrrs so should never cause interference with the hub and has not been reported beforecAFAIK. Assume you are aware that when opertaing with pods the Sky Mx hub becomes triband with a closed dignal used for the pods backhaul traffic?. The system is automatic so should not need tweaking but does seem to need 24 hours to settle.

If you dont get on with it then reject it. Huge range of options my own choice is a set of 3 Deco units as WiFi5 is amply fast enough delivering 200Mb/s in distant rooms.
