The 'sharp metal' clips fitted by the engineer to hold the fibre cable to the wall, have cut through the outer plastic covering and the cable looks damaged and 'about to fail'. How do I book an engineer to check this/fit a new fibre cable? Thank you.

Just dial 150 on your landline and ignore it trying to send you texts back here and hold on the line till you speak to an advisor.

Thank you for that - will try the 150 call (and hopefully hold-the-call, and avoid 'fob-off' with SMS text messages). Cheers.
