Re: Sky Fibre Broadband (FTTP) with Ubiquity USG (i.e. 3rd party router)

HI,

Could you share the configuration of the USG for both options please :

without SkyTalk

Openreach ONT > USG or UDM > USG24

with SkyTalk

Openreach ONT > SkyHub > USG or UDM > USG24

Thankyou.

I then want to set up vlan that isolate home, work and whitecards....

regards,

Pawiter

Good Evening All, just jumping on this thread as we have found the sky router / hub just not able to provide what we require , separate networks (guest, WiFi devices, iot etc), block certain devices from the internet temporarily and permanently, acceptable WiFi signal throughout the house, so we are drawn to the UniFi suite of products, which looks to allow the controls to do this along with positioning aps through the house where it's needed.
we have sky gigafast, an ont box mounted on the wall inside the house.
Would anyone be able to provide a concise set of instructions to what they have done to make this work with a UniFi udm (se / pro max etc) and remove the sky hub / WiFi box completely.

Also has anyone got UniFi talk to work with the UniFi udm setup without the sky hub/ WiFi box.

many thanks for your support in advance it's really appreciated
