@jamesn123 found that thread I think, it was fine from July until September! Hope mine breaks before then. In 20+ years of having broadband this is the first time this kind of thing has happened!
I guess I can jump the gun and just change it now, but how will I know it has worked if they are just allowing random connections <shakes head>

@jamesn123 yes think I've found that thread, it ran from July to September then dropped. Makes testing my changes harder if there's some grace period configured in somewhere. In my 20+ years of having broadband this is the weirdest initial config exercise ever.....

Just to complete the thread I have now tweaked the Draytek to use DHCP and all is well.
