Hey there
We've got two mesh networks setup at home , one for my work needs and another for the kids and SWMBO.
It's FTTP direct to the house . 1gb.
Both these meshs are optimised and do not conflict . They are plugged directly into the Sky Router . We used traffic management on the Meshs to ensure I do not use up all the bandwidth and the teenagers don't flood the home mesh !
Now the sky router keeps dropping and this knocks out both mesh networks which have to be restarted. I've been in IT for far too long and have never seen a router act like this before .
So I am now looking for a replacement router . Reading through the forums DHCP option 61 is required .
Does anyone have a good reasonable suggestion for a pure router with gigabit ethernet ports ?
I do not want to connect the Mesh (TPLink Deco 1800 and Mercsys 1800) to the WAN. Everything needs to go via the router and ideally I can enforce traffic management on the router 🙂
Thanks !

I'd recommend the Asus AX/AC RT series.
