Re: Sky Broadhead
@sheffunited2204 it is frustrating but unfortunately you are waiting on Openreach as Sky are essentially powerless in these positions. You will be due compensation Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
in Openreach's defense area faults can be difficult to repair recent examples include an idiot driver destroying a srtreet cabinet, theft of several miles of copper cable and the perennial one of a JCB driver digging up a main connection line. Local media may give more info on the cause in your area.
Assume you are aware that if you connect an aerial to a Glass TV with noninternet connection you can at least watch the Freeview channels?

I'd suggest it's standard practice for many companies to send notification texts from automated non-returnable numbers.

Re: Engineer again
@sheffunited2204 sounds likely. Openreach have different teams with different skill sets and responsibility so the for example the guys who take the first referral are normally not trained to work on the fibre cabinets.
