Sky Broadband Provisioning

I'm moving house to a property that is only served by Sky broadband. That is what the current occupants use.

When I attempt to set up an order to take on this service for myself, I'm told that the new address is not able to be supplied by Sky broadband.

So now I'm stuck in limbo land.

Any thoughts on how to proceed?

Thanks in advance.

Sky wouldn't be able to accept an order from you until the current occupants book their own Home Move or cancel.

@Marty99 It would be a little unusual for a property to only be served by Sky as they use the Openreach network which is used by many other providers.

Have you tried looking on any other providers sites to see if they can provide a service there?

If they can't then it may be worth using the address checker from this link https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL to see if it shows any issues with the address or cabinet that serves it(such as no capacity/waiting list).

Re: Sky Broadband Provisioning

Thanks Dave for the advice.

BT says - the exchange is FTTP ready, but not to my new address.

All other ADSL products are on stop sell, and BT themselves cannot support my move.

BT did tell me that OR had sold my new line to another provider but could not tell me who.

I know this is Sky.

Not sure of next steps.

Re: Sky Broadband Provisioning

The ALID is telling me this is not a BT line.
