Amazing coincident e my broadband went down an about hour ago something to do with the connect between the local exchange and my router. Strange **bleep** 6 hours ago a BT sales rep was at my door trying to get me to change from Sky to BT hmmmm . . .

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@fzPhil10 unless BT reps are going around cutting phone lines it is a coincidence which are far more common than conspiracies. If the connection is still down this morning then run the Connection test innthe My Sky app over a mobile connection as that will tell you if there is a known fault in your area otherwise call Sky.
Most faults are within the Openreach network from thecexchange to your home which affect all ISPs using thst network be they in the BT group, Sky or whoever.
