As that usually requires a brand new bearer cable, depending on the location it can be a prolonged project. Do you know where the nearest fibre currently is, and if it's supposed to arrive via pole or duct?

KCI2 usually means Openreach have committed to a date that the build to the edge of the customers property will be completed. Guess there is some infrastructure build to be done still.
