@Pompey1964  Was this Sky Q that you got rid of?

If someone has helped give them Like.

As @Highlinder indicates, if you've stopped using Sky Q then you've lost the WiFi hotspot(s) broadcast by default from every television box when Sky is the ISP ( aka the 'Q Mesh')

Replacing that functionality through Sky Broadband requires subscription to either the Broadband Boost or WiFi Max add-ons.

Then that's why coverage is reduced.

Note that because it was being provided by the Q television boxes, switching to a different ISP won't replace that functionality.

So typical that the rep did not mention this , looks like it's a new provider then .

Just a typical sky money making exercise then .I guess the rep didn't mention it as we would of cancelled every thing

The 'Q mesh' was a bonus feature of having Sky Q television as well as Sky being the ISP, going back to launch in 2016.  It was subsequently extended to cover other ISPs, but in that case had to be manually activated.

You can choose to regard it negatively if you wish: presumably you've benefited from it up to now as effectively a free service.
