Setting up my broadband

I'm trying to set up my new router in my new house and there's no where like in the photos that it gets hooked up to. I only have the old telephone ports. Nothing with the LAN and other lights. Anyone know where it gets plugged in?

Did you book a Home Move with Sky?

Had it been confirmed there was a full fibre connection at the new address?

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

Yes when I was setting up the sky account it said there was sull fibre

Unfortunately it's not particularly unusual for previous occupants to mistakenly remove the Openreach ONT on departure.

Try looking for two screws mounted low on a wall somewhere in the vicinity of a mains power socket and a slim white cable strand with a green rectangular jack plug.

Yes I think I have one of those boxes. Can it just be plugged in to there?

If Sky is providing service over full fibre then their Hub needs to be plugged into the ONT.  The connection is over ethernet cable between an ethernet socket on the ONT and ethernet port #4 on the Sky Hub.

@RachaelFaith Here is the copy off the electronic version and JUST use the yes i have a phone option no matter what but ignore the let's connect the phone, gives you all the pictures and all types off connections, use what is relevant for you!
