Setting up ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98 for gigafast 5gbps connection
Can someone help with a guide on how to set up my ASUS ROG Rapture GT-BE98 router with my newly installed 5gbps gigafast line? The supplied router is actually the worst I've ever used.
Will I also be able to use the phone voip line through this router without any issues? Thanks

@SkyUser93 yiu definitely cannot use the voice line via any third party router as thecsystem requires the Sky hub to be directly connected. You coukd use your router behind Sky's hub 7 in a double NAT configuration
Asus routers can be connected directly and the simplest set up is use DHCPv6 PD which requires no sign-in and works on all CF lines which isnt true for Openreach

Even if that beast of a device had a 'phone' port, which it doesn't....
For information, Sky Talk Internet Calls is not VoIP at the customer end: it's the ATA components in the Sky Hub which converts a domestic analogue handset or DECT base to VoIP.
