Service Dropping Soon After Engineers Visits

I decided to  leave Virgin and join Sky Broadband with Streaming TV and telephone at the end of May.  My broadband engineer- City Fibre - showed up at the beginning fof JUne and asked where would I like the modem to be.  I suggested  the back living room. He said he did not have long enough cable and best to just drop it down the street and fit it the front room, my converted garage. I was told I would be in a different world now with 1 GB fibre as opposed to 300 mbs. He was right. Our  TV suddenly became intermittent, Wifi often dropping on our phones and laptops - never experienced this with my old Virgin. Shocking. I called back saying best to relocate to the front hallway, just teh other side of teh garage wall. They agreed and it was done 3 days ago. Now we are even worse off. The whole system went down (red alaram light on) 20 min after the engineer left. I called Sky and they said the engineer would need to come back but the earliest they could do so was the following day. I waited and waited. No information or update. I called again and they said the engineers were working atthe exchange book and woul dnot visit. They asured the problem would be resolved before the end of the day. I called just before the end of the day and they said it had to be now Monday. Engineers came today and again like 3 days ago the system stopped working  They said the engineer was working outside even though the engineer had not said anything like that. I received a sms an hour later that the matter was resolved. This is not the case.  I think this came because teh engineer who visited teh house closed teh job. I am not sure what can I do now?
