Second hand router

I have brought a second hand router as my original one became faulty. Can I plug the router straight in or do I need to register it with sky?

Its always best to request a new router from sky especially if its an sr203 or issued after april 2020. These hubs are loan items and should have been returned to sky.

If your router is faulty you should get Sky to send you a replacement FOC. Any router you buy online is not owned by the seller and is loaned from Sky. If you start using it there is a very good chance Sky will brick the router and it'll stop functioning.
