Indian man called saying he was from Sky and that he "noticed someone was trying to access my internet from Europe and we need to connect to your broadband to check the line". I said, yes its was probably him and hung up. Checked the app. No issues. I called my elderly father to warn him also. Please be aware.

@Cadippoz 100% scam call. Sky won't proactively call you about anyone accessing your broadband connection.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
