How do I unlock all setting in my SR213 web interface.
Its useless as it is.
- Unable to separate 2.4 / 5 and 6 with different SSIDs
- Unable to change channels
- Unable to change bandwidths
Ill start digging on custom firmware for this router as in current form its rubbish.

@Anonymous No one is trolling you, you asked a question received an answer and then carried on simply because the answer doesn't fit what you want.
If you want to use a router that is customisable to your needs then buy one thats capable instead of trying to find a way to do it to equipment that isn't yours and isn't capable of being modded.

No.....WiFi 6 uses both the 2.4 and 5Ghz spectrum...so if you did seperate them you'll hurt performance, and won't be able to use WiFi 6 to full effect
- Unable to change channels
Why would you do this with modern hardware? With so many networks around (every neighbour has wifi now), modern kit dynamically changes WiFi channels all day and night long, based on regular scans of the WiFi environment.
- Unable to change bandwidths
Again, why would you need to do this? And what "bandwidth" are you referring to, Channel widths?

@Anonymous You can't access all the settings via its web interface, like most supplied ISP routers these days, it's all via the MySky app.
Custom firmware for an ISP supplied router in 2024....good luck with that....
Zen Superfast (FTTC), Fritzbox 7530, Sky Q 2TB UHD v3 (x1), Sky Q Mini (x2), Alienware Area 51-M, Panasonic TX-65HZ1000B, Denon AVR-X6300H, B&W CM8 S2, B&W CM1 S2 (x2), B&W CM Centre S2, REL S3 SHO (x2), Panasonic TX-P42G30B, Monitor Audio RS6, Marantz PM7001 KI, Denon HEOS 1 HS2 (x2), B&W P7, iPad Pro 12.9" (5th Gen), iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPad Mini 6 (work)

If such a thing existed (which is extremely unlikely) then applying it to loaned hardware would clearly be a breach of contract terms.
Typically ISP routers have no mechanism for doing so anyway.

Re: SR213 UNLOCK
1st, thanks for your reply.
- As an example my pixel 8 uses 6g (full 1gig speed) in 1 corner on one side of my sofa and only 2.4g on the other side. SImply because dB drops few bars, hardware decides to swap for an ancient connection. My 8 hikvision cams are now only spitting 1080p instead of 4k for the same reason. Same with NV Shield. All of this wouldnt be an issue with separated SSIDs for all 3 radios.
- Router have picked the most occupied channels for all radios, so there goes your smart channel prioritizing.
- Without manual option to force widest 160 AX channel bandwidth router utilise only narrow one.
All I am sking for is freedom to have all 3 radios on, assign separate SSIDs to all of them and decide which equipment will use what connection. Simple.
Why on earth limiting such capable machine ??

There is no mechanism for doing so, and the hardware is not yours to experiment with.

@Anonymous
I'm afraid you seem to misunderstand the nature of ISP-supplied routers: they are simply not amenable to such things, nor do the ISPs permit it in their contracts. All Sky Hubs from the Q model (2016) onwards are on loan to users, and modifying them, even if it were possible, simply isn't legitimate.

Re: SR213 UNLOCK
Loaned? You are paying £4 a month till then end of the contract. Thats £96 over a 2 year period. What happens then, do we need to send it back?

Re: SR213 UNLOCK
If switching to another ISP for broadband, then yes.
Note that loan of the Hub hardware is 'free': the fee is for the associated set of services under either Broadband Boost or WiFi Max.

Re: SR213 UNLOCK
Those are just fancy coorparate names for WiFi 6. Its quite a long way from wifi max if you cannot changed to the 160mhz channel or change something as simple as the DNS server.

Re: SR213 UNLOCK
It's a marketing name, of course.
Having said that, those aren't things the vast majority of users are going to do, or will even be aware of.
