SKY Ultrafast expansion

Hi everyone

I currently get 50 - 55 mbps with SKY Superfast Broadband. Any idea if they are expanding Ultrafast Broadband? I have recently purchased an Xbox Series S and faster speeds would certainly help with Cloud Gaming on Gamepass.   Thanks

@welshguy2017  As per @Highlinder post in addition it is Openreach who own the network who will carry out upgrades, it's not down to individual ISPS like Sky to upgrade the network.

I hope is it soon. The xtra speed will help with my Cloud Gaming on the Series S and PC.

No date on their website tho sadly.

Also note that in parallel to the Openreach optical network expansion there's also the rollout of private altnet Ultrafast provision, which won't be included in the Openreach mapping tool and which Sky does not currently use for data distribution.
