Rubbish service

Used several speed check services to test my devices as running very slowly. 12 foot away from router in a direct line, independent speed checkers show 12 mbs download, 0:75 mbs upload, 0.73ms latency, but sky test shows 400+ mbs download speed at router - I absolutely DO NOT believe the Sky results. The truth lies in the ultra slow devices. I'm constantly having issues with Sky Ultra Fast broadband - it even disconnects in the late evenings. TERRIBLE.

Your testing two completely different things.

The independent checkers measure the slowest part of your connection which is likely to be the WiFi signal from the hub to your device.

The Sky checker is showing you the speed in which your hub is connected to your cabinet/exchange over the copper/fibre line. 

Have you tried running a speedtest over ethernet to see if you are actually getting that line speed?
