Having the same issue was cutting out and now gone. Done all of the usual things nothing is working. Sky is saying there are no issues in my area

@Bigtom54123  & @Maria10  Can you run the latter test in the directions below to see if it picks up the fault and gives you further information are you in hemel hempstead?

Can you please run the service checker, this can be done either via the Sky app on mobile data or use the link below.

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.


After the service checker completes and if it comes back green all good can you click on broadband to run an updated test please. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

My internet is also down. I rely on it for work and when I go on my sky app and check it says there is an outage in my area and they are working on it. Says it may take a couple of days to fix 🤦🏼‍♀️

Two working days is the Openreach target time to fix for an individual domestic fault.  An area outage would get more attention, but the time required depends on the nature of the issue: replacing a cabinet line card is rather quicker than if the cabinet itself was wiped out by a vehicle impact.

Hi @Highlinder 

Have completed the test and it is saying that everything is fine but it isn't working. I have an amber light on the internet section. I do live near Hemel Hempstead.

completed all of the diagnostic tests and nothing is helping have reset our sky hub etc and still having the same issue.

@MLB10  There is a major outage around that are and there is a bigger thread about it on this board and Sky have responded and know about it.

This is so annoying,  i work from home twice a week, now having to go into the office,  also cant watch tv in my area as its sky stream and cant get a reception on digital hence got sky, really annoying... couple of days is no good!!!
