To be clear internet light is Green goes off after approx 30secs , flashes Amber then solid Amber then green and so on and so on , have an broadband engineer arriving Saturday but hoping someone has a fix or indeed knows for sure that this is a hub problem and not main line .

If it finds an external fault it should enable you to book an engineer.

Hi, yes I have and it says all ok but sometimes it says connection to your hub has a problem then I do all the unplugging etc as informed then it runs test again and says , your broadband is now up and running, but it's not as I can see the light has went out again and then continues the same loop of off and on , I was just wondering if anybody had come across this before and know that it may be a hub software issue as I'm guessing if it was main line I wouldn't be getting the internet connection at anytime .
I have an engineer coming Saturday but was hoping someone had a solution before then as sky tv affected , heating system , lights , wife works from home at moment , all affected .
looks like I will just have to wait .

That's harder than it sounds as the time it takes to run testes it could be off and on 3 times , 1st post is the stats from my router page incidentally.

@Highlinder Tells me every ok then I click on speed into house box it then says problem with broadband connection and when I go through self fixes it then says service checker is not possible at this time 🤷♂️ will just see what engineers say on Saturday thanks again.
