Router for better coverage and home VP

Hi all. Im looking to buy a third party router to achieve better WiFi coverage and speed across our house and also to enable a vpn so I can remotely connect to our smart wireless camera library without having to pay an ongoing subscription fee (Arlo). My tech knowledge is very limited. I've been looking at the TP-Link AX5400 or something in a similar budget (~£100). Any suggestions or recommendations? I'm on Sky Broadband Superfast and dont use the phone line. Thanks in advance.

@Pedro19451 which router will work depends on how the service you buy from Sky is delivered and whether you are in the UK or Ireland.

TP-Link Routers do not support the main means of line authentication Sky use in the UK which is DHCPv4 Option 61 but Asus and most Netgear routers do. However if you are on a copper connection for your Superfast service you will need a separate VDSL modem or a  combined modem router confusingly TP-Link's modem routers will connect using Option 61.

@Chrisee  Thanks for the info and help. I'm in the UK and yes I receive the service by copper connection.
Ive  read on other threads about people plugging the new router into the sky hub and turning off the WiFi in the sky hub. Is this workable/effective and will I still be able to VPN in? Does it affect the speed?

@Pedro19451 the set up,you decribe is setting up a Double NAT and won't affect speeds and the VPN should work but a few apps can have issues. Given G.Fast is technological dead-end and will be replaced bybfull fibre st some point buying a modem is an expense I would avoid myself
