Ring

My WiFi hub is installed at the back of my house so the rooms at the front, the ring doorbell and the hive are struggling to connect. Therefore the doorbell never works, and the hot water never switches on so we are left with no hot water most days

@Archna Hive systems do not use WiFi to communicate between the Hive hub and yiur heating controls so you may need a Hive booster to improve the Zigbee signal see https://support.hivehome.com/portal/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=200403135450660

Ring doorbells do use WiFi though and are quite frequently an issue simply because they are the wrong side of a double thick external wall. Although strictly Sky do not support devices outside your home if you buy Sky's WiFi Max bundle they will send you a WiFi extender onnrequest see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max
