2g is old cellular data technology ('2nd generation') Do you mean 2.4Ghz WiFi?

Find out more@MARK.CAILCETA4576 if you have both Virgin and Sky hubs active the cause is probably interference as in practice there are only 3 2.4GHz channels which dont interfere if the Virgin hub has taken the best in your home the Sky unit could be interfering with a neighbour's network. Try turning off both routers then power up the Sky one alone to see if that helps.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt'll be down to the performance of the Sky hubs WiFi. Its never been that good and I would imagine the Virgin router is performing better. You'd need to look at getting a 3rd party router or mesh system or perhaps a Sky booster.
