I have been attempting to set up a ring door bell elite of which is POE via a Poe injector, I cannot get the setup to connect to its own temporary set up WiFi. I've been endless hours trying to sort this on both to ring and sky, sky have been very helpful in doing what they can and are sending out an engineer but I'm not sure this is the answer. I've been sent a new Sky Max Hub, and a replacement Ring Elite, I've actually got a 3rd replacement Elite coming.
I have changed the WiFi to Wpa2, I have turned off sky shield, I have also turned off my 5ghz and finally unplugged my sky max pod booster.
I am at a total loss, when I've set up my smart plugs in the past and had to connect a temporary set up WiFi I've had no issues. It makes me think there are some ports that are blocked because of the video transmission albeit sky assures me no ports are blocked.
If there is anyone out there who can shed some light I'll be really grateful.
