Hi
sorry if this has been asked many times. I've not seen a definitive response.
I recently upgraded to Sky Fibre and got a brand new fibre router. Sky have not asked me to return the Sky Q hub router that I previously had.
I want to get rid of it as I have no use for it. Should Sky have asked me to return it? Is it an oversight?
help appreciated.
regards
Kevin

All Q Hubs are due to become obsolete with the end of PSTN telephony which was supposed to happen by the end of 2025 (but has now been delayed)
It appears that for this reason Sky is not requiring return of the hardware because they won't be redeploying it themselves as they did in the past.
You can still choose to return it to them for recycling.

I upgrades to full fibre last week and the sky person the phone said for me to return it within 60 days or be fined. She sent me a link to a Sky page where I enter details and a label is produced which I attach to the item or items I send back.i said that I had an old sky q and sky plus box upstairs and noone had ever asked for them back.
