Request a Sky Max extender or pod

Hi,

With summer approaching, I've noticed that there is patchy or no wifi signal in our smallish garden. Inside the house is absolutely fine.

I feel a wifi extender or pod plugged in the rear of the house would do the job. I believe Sky Max hub users can request a pod, but I can't see anywhere on Sky website where I can request one, and online chat bot just goes round in circles with wrong prompts.

Can anyone help with link or contact?

Regards,

Howard

Note that the WiFi Guarantees specifically exclude outside spaces.

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of the legacy 'Broadband Boost' add-on and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell boosters except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Phoning Sky to go through a telephone diagnosis is required to have a booster or pod allocated to the account. Inevitably some  Sky booster hardware has leaked onto a certain auction site and elsewhere online, but Sky won't offer support with using these.

Confusingly the default 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' bundled with all new Sky Broadband orders where Boost or Max is not added by the customer doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above plus a one month broadband subscription refund.

Thanks. Hmm... that's interesting, and frustrating, as we actually need that connection for a summerhouse in the garden. Not sure if that's inside or outside in that context. My insurance considers it as part of my property. Hmm...

Rgds,

External buildings aren't covered either.

Your WiFi Guarantee includes:

All main rooms in your home like living rooms, bedrooms.

A garage that is accessed without having to go outside.

A converted loft room – it needs to have a fixed staircase, fully boarded and furnished.

Conservatory.

What it doesn’t include:

Any exterior buildings like garages, sheds, annexes, etc.

An unconverted loft – one that is not furnished.
