Replacing Sky Q Modem Router Suggestions??

That TP-Link archer c60 is a wireless ethernet cable router that will either plug into the Sky router ethernet socket or you have to purchase a modem, eg: Vigor 130 modem to connect it to the BT line.

The Vigor 130 modem connects to that TP-Link ethernet router, it does not include wireless in a modem it just allows ethernet to connect to the broadband line via a VDSL2 modem and an RJ11 plug.

I m sorry to bother you but do you think that 

TP-LINK Archer VR2100 WiFi Modem Router - AC 2100, Dual-band will work for me ? As modem and router in one box ? So I will have only one box for all.

Yes, you need to be searching the internet for a 'VDSL2 wireless router'. [add] correct yes that one is okay on Amazon, just ensure it has an RJ11 socket on it which is like the one on the right which is white below.

I just got tp link ac2100 from currys, last one 😀 I will have a go after work. Should I disconnect sky q hub and connect this one straight from a 5c socket and see what happens ?

TP-Link Archer VR2100 shouldn’t pose an issue as a replacement for the Sky Q hub.

Have a look at post 20 (page 2) of this thread, it shows a guide to follow that should help you set-up the VR2100

I manage to get through set up ok but I jave a problem with wired internet. Sometimes cuts off ? Do you know maybe I need to tweek some settings ?

If the internet is working over wireless then for ethernet you need to check the ethernet cables and ensure they are okay by replacing or swapping around.

Hi. I have been using tp link for a few days now and broadband is working fine, no issues there bit unfortunately tplink has a problem with rebooting itself for no apparent reason. As of now there is no solution and I think I m going to return it. I was wonder if you could tell me if Netgear AC1200 WiFi VDSL2/ADSL2 + Modern Router D6220-100 uks will work for me.

The Netgear manual for that router says it does confirm to DHCP Option 61 but doesn't explain the procedure in the manual for setting it up, but yes that ADSL2+/VDSL2 router is compatible.
