Replace Hub with Dray Tek 2865

Recently moved over to Sky Business from BT, looking the broadband line credentials and the SIP information for the phones so we can run our server through a Dray Tek Vigor 2865.

I'm then looking to use an adaptor for the phone lines, can someone help?

Sky have been very unhelpful throughout, hoping I can find a resolution here.

Thank you for any help in advance.

@myleftknee

Unfortunately there's almost no experience with Sky Business Broadband in this forum.

Sky has never made that information public for Sky Talk Internet Calls on their domestic broadband service: the configuration is baked into the Sky Broadband Hub and Max Hub, and otherwise unknown.

@myleftknee  You've posted in the Sky Domestic customers forum, therefore as we are domestic customers we have no experience woth Sky Business Broadband.

You can't however obtain any SIP details for the VOIP phone service as these have not been made public by Sky.

If the service uses DHCP Option 60/61 (MER) a search on this forum will provide the login details for the draytek to use.

Other than that you'd need to seek support from Sky themselves for anything else business related.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I seriously doubt using an ATA is possible, and Sky certainly won't provide any help with it.

Unfortunately I'd suggest that's pretty typical of budget 'business' broadband: ISPs really don't have the profit margin on such service to offer customer support for anything but their own hardware in the expected setup.

Thank you everyone for your input.

Guess I need to fight my corner as they want £200 to leave the contract.
