as I've mentioned before. I have dodgy neighbours, that I would not put anything past, and having been away recently I just wanted to recheck the security on my wifi settings. For a start I can't find the remote access settings at all, anywhere, they are just not there on the router admin page at all, have they been removed? Also should WPS be set to configured or unconfigured in default settings? as mine were set to configured and I did not set this. Does configured mean that anyone within a certain range can just log onto my wifi without a password? I live in the bottom cottage flat and it is basically a house converted into two flats, so we are at very close range. these people would do anything they could get away with. Anything! And they are nosey beyond what can be considered normal or healthy! Put it this way they would definitely be accessing my wifi if they could, be it to snoop or steal. I actually, genuinely wouldnt care if they were just hijacking the wifi to use as it doesnt cost me any more, but I am having loads of problems with connection since I came back home from being away.
