Recently had upgrade of broadband! But as slow?

I recently had a upgrade to fibre..but see zero noticeable difference in the quality of my broadband speed ?!

@MJADAMS11 From what to what have you done, and with what expectation are you looking for? Have a read also when you get some time.

Appreciate the links, etc, but  I have spent the last 7 years waiting for fibre upgrade(so aware of said links!!) gone through the process of only using 1 gadget at a time etc!...i guess cos i live in a remote area(thankfully) IT IS WHAT IT IS ;)...but will be phoning Sky for a discount..Thanks again ...have a great day

Is your broadband now 'full fibre' or 'fibre to the cabinet'?

 

FTTP should be the same everywhere becomes optical cable effectively removes the impact of location.  By contrast, FTTC is critically distance-dependent and inherently limited: it's not entirely impossible that FTTC can actually perform worse than the preceding ADSL.

@MJADAMS11 something thst many customers find after upgrading speed is thst the bottle ne k was not the connection speed to the hub but rather the speed of the wifi connection in the home.
