Hello I need to re-book my engineer that supposed to be coming today between 2-4pm but my child has been taken into hospital sorry for short notice

In addition it's too short notice to reschedule so it's likley you'll be charged for a missed visit. Like most other Broadbandn providers Sky needs at least 24 hours notice to cancel/reschedule any appointment.
It's unusual for Openreach Broadband installs or faults to be worked on a weekend.
