Should work. Give them a go anyway.  They should connect to each other on a slightly lower frequency than the hubs. It's just the term wifi phone may be used incorrectly

The gap bit just means that any phone that is both dect and gap compatible are interoperable with other manufacturers phone with the same dect/gap functionality
