Querying the OPENREACH ONT Lights

Hello All.  I have just upgraded to Full Fibre 150.  I  had the new Sky Broadband Hub activated, plus a very compact Openreach ONT was installed.  All working really well and I am achieving the 150Mbps download speed.  What I would like to know, should all four lights come on green, on the ONT?   The one marked ALARM is not lit up at all.  The other three, marked LAN, PON. and POWER are all green.  Tempted not to worry, as everything working fine, but should I inform Sky that something is not right ?  I switched the ONT off, then back on, but still, only three of the lights go green.   Thanks for yor advice.

The Alarm LED has several meanings.
Off = No alarm detected, system is good.
Green = ONU software download complete and software upgrade in progress. LED will turn off once upgrade is successful.
Green Flashing = Software download in progress.
Red = New ONU software not operational due to any of the following reasons:
* Software image download failed.
* Software image flash write failed.
* Software image activation failed.
* Software image commit failed.

@NicholasLBH Openreach fit several  models of ONTs made by different companies which have different indicator lights but the rule is green is good red is bad. The alarm light can have different meanings but typically only lights red if there is a fault so no alarm is a goid thing.

Dont worry if the light labelled LAN or Port is flashing green as that just indicates data is flowing.

Re: Querying the OPENREACH ONT Lights

Hello Doc5907.  Many thanks for your quick reply and good to know everything is working as it should.   I suppose a lack of any user guide from Openreach, when they completed the installation, did not help and I just assumed that all the LEDs on the ONT would light up.   Again, no user guide received from SKY,  when the new Broadband Router was delivered.   It does seem to be a very good router, so well pleased at the moment.    Thanks to other reply.
