Problems since upgrading contract to sky max hub

I Upgraded my sky contract a few weeks ago since upgrading and installing the new sky max hub the  service checker has been showing an issue with my broadband mainly that the broadband speed isn't hitting the guaranteed speed, I have had openreach out and they have confirmed they fixed something on my line and the line can get up to the max speed for my area but still its not giving the guaranteed speeds sky say i should be getting which is making me think its a router issue, i have had no issues before with sky but since the upgrade its all went slightly downhill 

 

Has anyone else experienced this before or can anyone assist with this issue?

Is the service checker still stating there is an issue, it may be a false positive?

 

Manually confirm the speed over ethernet ethernet-connected device via a speed site like fast.com and also inform back to the forum whether it is hitting the speed suggested Sky offer you.

@Craigp777 unlikely to be a router issue in my opinion they rarely have issues affecting connection speed..

 

However, as @mae-3, says the service checker can give misleading results. As an example  my own line often shows weird speeds. Looking at the checker this week it shows speeds from 500Mb/s down to 341Mb/s  while my regular speed tests run over a fast wifi link always show over 500Mb/s. A couple of times it was close to triggering the Speed Guarantee. Quite what is wrong hasn't been explained despite me raising it through a back channel.
