Just had an upgrade to full fibre, however the engineer located my router in a different place to my old one (cabling issues)
I have virtually no Wi-Fi in my study, I have added a netgear router mid way a d wired it into the sky router and it now works on the netgear wireless.
I have Wi-Fi guarantee, can you help

Re: Pretty much no Wi-Fi connection
Just FYI I would not recommend running whatever 'Netgear' you have alongside any Sky pods so if you get those, remove the 'Netgear' device from your setup.

Re: Pretty much no Wi-Fi connection
Hi all sorted now, Contacted Sky and they supplied a Max pod, once I positioned it in the correct place all done. Interestingly it seems that the new router has less of a range than the original router, I can't fault the service I received.

Re: Pretty much no Wi-Fi connection
@Ken+Trail It seems that everyone is pointing towards the Sky Max hub as a range drop in distance with regards to the older SR203, never used a sky Max and would NOT entertain it in the slightest just for the reason that you have to use the app for it!
Newer device, so it may just be the way it is, using a lot higher in the spectrum for Frequency range and also auto channel hop, pod hidden backhaul, all takes a little hit on performance, it is only an ISP supplied with all it's limitations!
