Possible router issue. How to check?

Recently I have posted regards my poor internet speed which is all over the place. However I am starting to think that it could be the router as my print jobs are not going through and when they do they print very slowly. I have tested using a wired connection to my printer and it works fine so I am beginning to wonder if the router has an issue.

1) Is there a way for me to check this?

2) If it is found that the router is faulty how do I get it replaced seeing as though SKY don't have a phone line for faults?

Thanks

@JayBee5 looking st your stats I would suspect poor wifi signal level if devices connected by Ethernet are reasonable. There is a useful app called WiFi Sweetspots that measures the speed between a device and the hub instantly so you can see where the signal is good, bad and indifferent around your home.. There are versions for most operating systems.including ios and Android.

Re: Possible router issue. How to check?

Thanks,

I am connected via a wired connection to my router and the printer is right next to it - if the WiFi is slow it's got to be a fault (and it's intermitent.)
