Just received my new Sky Hub and have an ONT from Openreach already fitted from previous provider.
Plugged in cable into ONT port and into back of Hub and switched on. Unfortunately no Internet light on Hub and no light port light on ONT box. Tried reseating cable and resetting ONT but no luck. Shouldn't be that difficult but I'm stumped.
Any ideas welcome.

What is your activation date? You can check your orders on your my sky app .
Just because theres an ont from a previous provider doesn't mean its been activated by sky

This is probably going to sound silly, but have you tried another ethernet cable? The port light will light up when something is connected to it, so if it's not picking up your router then it's most likely going to be going to be the cable itself. Why not try the old cable that was originally attached and link that to your router?
