Virgin coax fibre. Switch to Sky BB.

Presently been with VM over 20yrs but with all the price hikes have now seriously started looking around for better deals. The only reason I stayed was because of the hassle in getting a new phone line installed.

In my estate it is all VM coax fibre and I have a coax cable entering the house. (due to past council restrictions on dishes).

Will the stream puck work with a sky BB package if I only have coax fibre (no copper) for connection to BB router/modem. Or do I still need a new line put into the house, which will be a god-awful job to do.

@ubdai66  To move to Sky Broadbandn you will need a copper line or FTTP fibre cable installing depending on what is available in the area.  The VM cable cannot be used as Sky use the Openreach network.

No ISP except Virgin can use their coaxial cable because that's private infrastructure: Sky Broadband requires an Openreach data bearer (copper 'phone' cable or optical fibre).
