I have a Synology NAS, it's been a breeze to set up, so far - and then I required access when I wasn't on my home network.
Looked at the Synology website, needed to open & set up port forwarding on the router - How hard can this be I thought, very it turns out.
My patience wears thin with companies that underdeliver. So when I work from home but occasionally have to be on site, I still need access to the NAS. Because of the way the router is set up, it appears this relatively basic ask isn't possible - FYI it's the black SR203
If anyone can shed some light on this nonsense it would be great to share.
