Poor wifi signal and speed

Hello, I am having some issues with the connectivity of my WiFi. I am currently in a new build home and unsure on if the issue is potentially due to location on the router as the router is located downstairs (4 in a block). The WiFi rarely works/gets a reception if the Livingroom door is shut which it needs to be due to having a toddler. I have also tested the speed a few times with the speed checker and I'm not getting the 100mbps that is stated in my contract. I'm wondering if there is anything that can be done with the location of the WiFi router or if I could be given WiFi range extenders ETC. Thanks, Aiden

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.

Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.
