Poor positioning
We had Sky broadband installed on 2/10/2025 and the installers have put a gray box with flashing green lights in the middle of a wall in my living room directly opposite the door. So highly visible.and now there is a large bundle of cables on the floor and the router has to be placed on the window sill above a radiator. . The whole installation is a mess. There is an alcove 30 inches from this box where I could have a shelf/small cupboard to hide this.. After a few days I phoned both Sky and City Fibre asking them to move the box. I have had so many promises to phone me back, to send out an engineer but nothing ever happens. I have the remainder of the 30days to ask Sky to remove the whole system and return to BT
My question is what do ai do next?

Re: Poor positioning
@DMN47 The answer maybe just to do as you need, once the installation is in and done, working then that's about it! Having a 2nd go at it just never works out!

Re: Poor positioning
@DMN47 is there a creative but practical way to hide/disguise the hub & cables?
The ONT has to be installed near a power socket and in my home it's in the hallway. This is not an ideal place, however, we currently use a shoe cabinet to hide

Re: Poor positioning
Yes that would work in some places but not in the centre of a traditionally furnished room. However Sky have raised an issue of poor workmanship with city fibre so here's hoping
