Poor connection

Over the past few weeks my WiFi has been terrible. My daughter cannot watch TV in her room in the eves. The connection drops constantly and nothing has changed. Weve tried all the trouble shooting. I've disconnected mobiles from the WiFi but means I'm using data I don't have. I upgraded to a better WiFi not long ago but it is becoming increasingly frustrating. My equipment is old and not picking up a signal constantly
