Why now I have recontacted is my internet speed slower, its 54Mbs when it was 73mb/s

I thought I ask the question because could not find it online anywhere.

I was getting 73mb/s(paying £43) before I switched to BT and then I switched back to Sky and now the maximum speed is 54mb/s(Paying £35 now) how can the speed end up being slower, I can't change it to it says I am on the fastest Internet for my address on the website...?

It was like 35Mb/s on BT so too slow of Sky Steam to play properly so would brake up all the time, so I when back to sky, I am now on 54mb with Sky Broadband Superfast but say I am on the fastesr broadband, before I switch to BT I was on Sky Broadband Superfast and it was at 73mb/s now its 54mb/s, has the speed gone down or something., werid.

My son is with EE and his is 73mb/s so mine is 20mb/s lower now then it was a month ago, I switch back to Sky Broadband Superfast from BT with in a month, BT has crapy speed, I wish I never switched, my internet was fine and Sky Steam was too ...?
When it was 73mb/s it was £43 a month and why I switch because it was cheaper, cheaper is not always better... 🙂

its says Sky Broadband Superfast (£46)£21.00 and 

Sky WiFi Max (£10) £4.00 so £25 a month.

@spannernick1 Have a look on the Service Checker, expand the broadband > and see what the daily connection to your sky hub looks like when sky checks it!

I see now why my Sky Steam keeps frezing for a second and channel stops today, 33MB/s when its meant to be 51mb/s

Yeah sorry I have 2 acounts on Sky cause my partner was the acount holder but died a year ago, I sign in to hers for Sky Mobile so my service are split beteen them..

@spannernick1 Then the sky broadband at the 54mb/s you see the > symbol that brings up your history, you should be up near the 80Mb/s if you posting was correct, so you may need to say what sky hub you have next, the white or black on, sky Max or sky Broadband hub?
