@Briege25 the sockets are Ethernet ports to either conect the pod to the hub by a cable which is useful in some cases or the connect devices like Sky Q mini boxes that cannot connect to the pod's wifi.

Just a quick FYI. The Ethernet ports on the pods should not be used to hardwire a Q mini box. Doing so would create a bridge between the Q mesh and the X1 / hub 6 mesh, creating instability and potential loss of internet connectivity on all Q nodes.
