Plug on old fax/telephone too big to fit Sky router
We have just switched to Sky. We have a very old Panasonic KX-FC255 fax/telephone. This has a large plug which has been plugged into an old BT socket. We are now instructed to plug our telephone directly into the Sky router. This cannot be done because the plug is much bigger than the UK phone socket on the back of the router. Is there an adaptor I can buy to remedy this problem?: If not, what is the solution?

@Bertramus86 the phone socket on the back of Sky hubs is a standard UK phone connection and is identical to the one on the old wall sockets so are you trying the correct socket? Ignore the pink socket the phone plugs into the next one marked UK with a phone symbol.See here for more https://www.sky.com/help/articles/set-up-hub-which-sky-hub-do-you-have

The plug from my old telephone is definitely bigger than the socket on the Sky router, as is the old wall telephone socket in the house, The socket I am trying to plug into is next to the pink one and clearly states "UK" alongside the picture of a telephone.

I've taken the photos but I can't upload them as I am being told they are too big. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to reduce their size as normally I just take a photo on my phone, and download it from there. Sorry - not very good with technology.
