If you have Sky Broadband then you've already got either a 'socket' or a phone port on a Hub plus a Sky Talk service.  Sky doesn't supply telephone handsets.

Re: Phone line

@amanda__ Do you not already have one, and what is the reason that you need one? Getting a new socket installed is a call to sky so dial 150 on a landline phone, it will possibly not be free so the charge for it would ask sky how much!

Re: Phone line

@amanda__ What sky hub do you have, see the link below for the types, depending on what you have would be highly unlikely since your connection is so new, that the landline does not indeed plug into the back off the sky Hub, If you have the black sky Broadband Hub, have 4 green lights on it then for sure that is where it goes, but see the link! There is NO need for any phone socket, if you are also FF Full Fibre connection say as that is an ONT installed and you are 100% full digital!

Perhaps also be aware that unless you've opted for one of the Sky Talk 'Extra' add-ons, actually making outbound calls has an unpleasantly high cost per minute.

Roughly speaking an hour of calls made in any month costs more than the Anytime Extra supplement.
