Hello all,
I was wondering if someone could confirm this phone call please.
I was called in my Sky phone home line with a recorded message stating that my service was about to be disconnected and ended for illegal internet use.
I have not done anything illegal on online at all????
.
Is this a legitimate Sky call or could this be a scam???
I can't get in touch with anyone at Sky to ask this , so I wonder if anyone else has had this call or what I should do please.
Many thanks

Hello GD1
thanks for reply, no I wasn't asked to phone the number back but I did on my mobile. The line just went dead???
I was a bit worried in case my service just stops 😲🤔 I can't post number because Sky chat says it's confidential just don't want to lose service

Defo a scam. The intention of them is for you to phone them back usually to a premium rate number and cost you an arm and a leg in the process. Just a bit of advice check your next mobile bill to make sure you weren't excessively billed

The forum software automatically blocks every string of digits with that format: it's no indication the number you encountered belongs to Sky (which it doesn't).
All such calls are the start of a scam.
