Part Fibre

Hi

Does anyone know if SKY is still selling Part Fibre FTTC as where I have recently moved to Full Fibre is not available in my road due to trees stopping Cabling installation. Openreach have been out to look at the issue out four times now and have advised that the row of houses where I live are being decommissioned from Full Fibre installation at this time.

I look forward to your comments

Hi @NPv

Yes Sky will sell FTTC to you if Openreach have flagged the address as not being available for FTTP. However if your address was 'enabled' for FTTP, but then Openreach have decided that the install isnt possible and are 'downgrading' your address back to FTTC, it may take some time to update in the databases that Sky use.

@NPv

For Sky to be able to offer FTTC at an address currently flagged for FTTP priority, the entry on the BT Wholesale Availability Checker would need to be amended.
