Re: PROBLEMS WITH BLACK BOX PASSWORD, NO ONE FROMJ SKY HAS CALLED ME BACK
@babylon3012 Black box? Do you mean your broadband hub? No one from Sky will call you back in response to a post in a public forum from an unlinked account.
What issue are you having with your broadband hub password?
You're ohter thread in the mobile forum has been removed, you've had a reply to this post, you need to explain what the issue is as you have posted in both broadband & moble forums, so which is it?

Re: PROBLEMS WITH BLACK BOX PASSWORD, NO ONE FROMJ SKY HAS CALLED ME BACK
They keep on blaming me not putting in the correct password and have informed them of this. I don't seem to get back their help. Typical of them!

Re: PROBLEMS WITH BLACK BOX PASSWORD, NO ONE FROMJ SKY HAS CALLED ME BACK
@babylon3012 Have you tried splitting the hubs wifi bands as some phone don't like the combined bands
So to split the two channels you need to go to your router config page which can be found by typing 192.168.0.1 into your web browser. To access the page, you'll need;
username: admin
password: sky OR your WiFi password
- Select wireless from the navigation bar and scroll down a little and untick the 'Synchronise 2.4GHz and 5GHz settings'
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit apply.
- Once the page reloads you need to go to the 5GHz wireless settings page on the sub navigation bar below where you click wireless before
- In the 5GHz section you want to go to the box called 'Name (SSID)' and add something like 5g to the end of the current name
- Scroll down and hit apply
- Then on any wireless device you should now see two networks. One network will be the same name as usual and will be 2.4GHz band and the other will be the usual name with 5G on the end (Or whatever you typed). Connect any 5GHz capable device to the 5GHz network and see if it works correctly. The WiFi password should be the same if you haven't changed it.

@babylon3012 Sky cannot change the password from their end but you can easily reset or change the wifi password yourself see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/find-and-change-your-wireless-password. However before doing so check you are reading the password correctly as Sky use numbers and latters like 0 and O which are easy to confuse.
Pressing and hold in the reset pin until the power led flashes which can take 20 seconds then release will definitely set the password to match the label.
